RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) baseball team announced on Tuesday that it will host an evaluation camp for kids enrolled in grades 9-12 on Jan. 11 at UTRGV Baseball Stadium.
 
Registration for the camp can be completed at GoUTRGV.com/BaseballCamps.
 
Evaluation Camp – Jan. 11, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
 
This camp is designed to give participants an opportunity to showcase their skills while being evaluated by college coaches. Position players will be evaluated in hitting, defense, pop times, arm strength, and the 60-yard dash, while pitchers will receive instruction in a guided bullpen session.
 
All campers will be able to speak with the UTRGV coaching staff, see facilities, and learn the culture of UTRGV Baseball.
 
Cost: $100
Registration Deadline: Jan. 10, 11:59 p.m.
