RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced on Monday that graduate student Oneeko Allen, of the men's soccer team, is the Killers Golf UTRGV Student-Athlete of the Week.
 
Allen scored two goals in the Vaqueros 5-1 exhibition win over Coastal Bend College on Saturday.
 
Allen's first goal put the Vaqueros up 3-0 and his second goal came with just seconds remaining on the clock.

Allen, who is entering his second season with the program, scored one goal in 16 matches last season.
 
The Vaqueros have one more exhibition schedule as they will host Texas A&M International on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at UTRGV Soccer and Track & Field Complex. 
 
The regular season will kick off on Saturday when the Vaqueros visit Lindenwood.
