NATCHITOCHES, La. – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros women's tennis team concluded their run at the Southland Conference (SLC) Fall Championships Friday at Northwestern State's Jack Fisher Lady Demon Complex.
 
Senior Yaiza Vazquez battled in a 6-3, 6-3 loss to No. 1 seed Salome Fluri from McNeese.
 
UTRGV will hit the road for the Baylor Invite which will run from Nov. 6 to Nov. 9 at the Hurd Tennis Center in Waco.
