RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros women's basketball team is excited to host the Big 12's Houston Cougars Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in a Pack the House game presented by Vaquero Outfitters at the UTRGV Fieldhouse.
This is Houston's first trip to the UTRGV Fieldhouse since 2016. UTRGV (3-1) defeated Houston (2-2) in the season opener back in Nov. 2024 to earn its first victory over a Power 4 opponent since 2003. The rematch in Edinburg looks poised to be a good battle. Fans can purchase tickets at
UTRGVTickets.com. Students get in free with a valid student ID but will need to claim a ticket at
GoUTRGV.com/StudentTickets. A
clear bag policy is in place for all UTRGV Athletics venues.
