RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced on Tuesday that free digital tickets are now available for football's inaugural spring game on April 17 at 6 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Brownsville and the open practice on March 29 at 10 a.m. at PSJA Stadium in Pharr at UTRGVTickets.com.
 
Additionally, registration for the free football youth clinic for kids in grades 2-6, taking place immediately following the open practice on March 29 from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., is now open at GoUTRGV.com/FootballClinic.
 
Spring Game
 
Fans must show their free digital spring game ticket to gain entry and are required to follow the clear bag policy which can be found at GoUTRGV.com/ClearBag. Gates open at 5 p.m.
 
Fans in attendance will be treated to performances by the spirit program and the marching band. Vaqueros gear will be also be on sale at the event.
 
High school coaches that are interested in attending the spring game can click here to RSVP.
 
Open Practice & Youth Clinic
 
Fans must show their free digital open practice ticket to gain entry and are required to follow the clear bag policy which can be found at GoUTRGV.com/ClearBag. Gates open at 9 a.m.
 
A free youth clinic for the first 200 enrollees will take place at the conclusion of the open practice. The registration deadline is March 28 at 12 p.m.

Although this practice is open to the public, practices at the Vaqueros Performance Center (VPC) will generally be closed to the public.

Season Tickets Wait List
 
UTRGV Athletics initially made 6,000 season ticket deposits available for the 2025 football season and the allotment is sold out.
 
UTRGV is hard at work to ensure the Rio Grande Valley community has the best game day experience possible. As a part of that process, it was determined that limiting season ticket deposits to 6,000 is necessary to accommodate enough seats for season ticket holders, UTRGV students, the marching band, the player pass list, and the visiting team pass list.
 
Fans who have not yet placed a deposit but are interested in season tickets can sign up for the wait list at GoUTRGV.com/FootballWaitList. Should additional season tickets become available following the select-a-seat process, UTRGV Athletics will contact fans on the wait list based on Vaqueros Loyalty Points ranking.
 
Single-Game Tickets
 
Should any single-game tickets be available, they will be released during the week leading up to each game. Available inventory is not guaranteed and may vary by game.
