RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced on Thursday that redshirt sophomore
Marshal Destremau and junior
Mustafo Vanjov are part of the 2024-25 NABC Honors Court.
In order to be named to the Honors Court, a student-athlete must be academically a junior, senior or graduate student and a varsity player during the 2024-25 season, have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher at the conclusion of the academic year, and member of an NCAA Division I, II, or III or NAIA Division I or II institution with an NABC member coach.
Destremau, who is majoring in Economics, also earned College Sports CSC (CSC) Academic All-District honors, Spring Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll, and Fall and Spring AD Honor Roll.
Vanjov, who is multidisciplinary studies major, earned Spring Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll, and Fall and Spring AD Honor Roll.
