RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced on Friday that single match tickets are now on sale for the 2025 Vaqueros volleyball season. 
 
The Vaqueros will play 10 home matches at the UTRGV Fieldhouse. The home slate begins with the Southwest Showdown, featuring two UTRGV matches and three neutral matches between a trio of 2024 NCAA Tournament teams. 
 
The Southwest Showdown starts Sept. 4 with a 3:30 p.m. match between UTEP and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (AMCC). The Vaqueros will play their home opener at 6:30 p.m. against Texas State in an Orange Out match. On Sept. 5, AMCC and Texas State will play at 3:30 p.m. and the Vaqueros will face UTEP at 6:30 p.m. The tournament concludes on Sept. 6 with a 12 p.m. match between Texas State and UTEP. 
 
Fans can purchase a ticket for either match on Sept. 4 or 5 and gain admission for both contests on that day. Single match tickets are available for $9 for adults, $8 for faculty, staff, and senior citizens (65+), and $6 for children (17 and under). Current UTRGV students get free admission to all UTRGV contests with a valid student ID. Volleyball season tickets and multi-sport passes are also on sale. Fans can visit UTRGVTickets.com to purchase single match or season tickets for the 2025 volleyball season and 2025-26 multi-sport passes.
