The Vaqueros will play 22 conference games, facing every SLC opponent twice – once at home at the UTRGV Fieldhouse and once on the road. UTRGV will host 11 conference games before the SLC Championships, scheduled for March 9-12 in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

UTRGV basketball season tickets and multi-sport passes are on sale now to secure seating at all men's and women's basketball, volleyball, and baseball contests. "We're excited about the schedule we have for Year 2 in the Southland Conference," head coach Lane Lord said. "We learned a lot Year 1 and had our best conference season in program history. Now this year we know where we're going, what to do and what not to do, and that's going to help us a lot. It's going to be another competitive year in the conference and we're excited about the group we have to take on the season."

UTRGV opens the SLC slate on the road at Lamar on Dec. 2 and will play at Stephen F. Austin (SFA) on Dec. 15.

The Vaqueros will close the calendar year with home games against New Orleans on Dec. 29 and Nicholls on Dec. 31. They'll start 2026 at the UTRGV Fieldhouse with a South Texas Showdown, presented by Rally Credit Union, game against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. Then they'll head back on the road to play Northwestern State and East Texas A&M Jan. 8-10.

UTRGV will host Southeastern on Jan. 15 and McNeese on Jan. 17 before heading to Corpus to close out the South Texas Showdown. The Vaqueros and Houston Christian University will face off in back-to-back games, first playing in Houston before battling at the UTRGV Fieldhouse on Jan. 29. The Vaqueros play their next three games on the road at Incarnate Word, Nicholls and New Orleans.

UTRGV welcomes Lamar and SFA on Feb. 12 and 14, respectively, before hitting the road to play McNeese and Southeastern. The Vaqueros will close the regular season with three consecutive home games against Northwestern State on Feb. 26, East Texas A&M on Feb. 28, and Incarnate Word on March 2.

The complete 2025-26 women's basketball schedule will be released at a later date.
