MONROE, La. – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros women's golf team finished in 11^th place to close out the ULM Invitational on Tuesday at Bayou DeSiard Country Club. 
 
The Vaqueros finished with a three-round score of 909 after posting a final round 303. UTRGV finished ahead of UAB, East Texas A&M, and Stephen F. Austin. 
 
Sophomore Pitchayapa Pungpho carded UTRGV's best round of the day with a final round 73 as she finished tied for 33^rd with a three-round score of 226. Sophomore Zoe Hobbs finished tied for 36^th with a three-round score of 228 after a final round 77. 
 
Sophomore Miriam Barcalova tied for 41^st with a three-round score of 229 after a final round 77. Junior Natalia Rodriguez finished tied for 45^th with a three-round score of 230 after posting a final round 76. Junior Preston Saiz posted a final round 77 as she finished tied for 57^th with a three-round score of 234 and senior Cristina Galban finished tied for 64^th with a three-round score of 236 after a final round 79. 
 
Host ULM won the team title with a three-round score of 856 after posting a final round 279. Samford's Gabi Nicastro won the individual title with a three-round score of 203 after a final round 62.
 
The Vaqueros will be back in action from April 13-15 at the Southland Conference Championships at Kissing Tree Golf Club in San Marcos.
