NEW YORK CITY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) graduate Nayla Harris finished sixth in the women's 100-meter dash Friday at the 2026 Toyota USA Track & Field Outdoor and Para National Championships at Ichan Stadium in New York. 
 
Harris ran a personal-best 11.04 in Friday's semifinal, taking third in her heat. The top two finishers in each of the three semifinal heats plus the next three times secured spots in the final. Harris, running unattached, clocked in at 11.06 in the final, finishing ahead of two Georgia Bulldogs and another unattached athlete. 
 
Olympic silver medalist Sha'Carri Richardson won the race to claim her third national title.
