FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros women's 4x100-meter relay team finished 19
th in the quarterfinals of the NCAA West First Round Saturday at John McDonnell Field in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Kaliyah Poston clocked in at 45.17, the sixth-fastest race in program history. The Vaqueros finished seventh in Heat 3. They finished ahead of Power 4 programs including Stanford, BYU and Iowa in the overall results. The top 12 relay teams secured spots in the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
Lingueno, Davis, Williams and Poston combined to run five of the top 10 times in program history in the 4x100 relay in the 2026 season. They won the Southland Conference championship two weeks ago.
