2012 Season • Senior
Indoor – Competed in two meets … Finished ninth in 5,000-meter run and 12th in 3,000-meter run at Great West Conference Championships with times of 15:28.19 and 8:56.77 respectively … Won 3,000-meter run at McNeese Jeff Davis Bank Indoor Invite II with career-best time of 8:39.57.
Outdoor – Competed in six meets … Finished fourth in 10,000-meter run and seventh in 5,000-meter run at Great West Conference Championships with times of 32:09.64 and 15:31.59 respectively … Won 5,000-meter run at Texas State Bobcat Classic with time of 15:33.80 … Finished third in 5,000-meter run at Cactus Cup with time of 15:41.03.
2011 Season • Junior
Indoor – Competed in three meets … placed 18th at the Houston Invitational in the 3,000-meter run with an 8:48.32 … finished in sixth place in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 8:45.93 at the UH All-Comers Meet in Houston … placed sixth in the 3,000-meter run and fifth in the 5,000-meter run with times of 8:41.48 and 14:12.63, respectively, at the Great West Conference Indoor Championships.
Outdoor – Competed in six meets … was a sixth-place finisher in the 5,000-meter run at the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays with a time of 15:01.64 … won the 3,000-meter run at the Bobcat Invitational by crossing the finish line in 8:57.45 … earned the conference title in the 10,000-meter run with a time of 32:49.73 and also finished fourth place in the 5,000 meters with a 15:36.6 at the Great West Conference Outdoor Championships.
Rend Lake Junior College
Spent two seasons at Rend Lake before transferring to UTPA … ran a personal best 4:31.56 in both the 1,500 meter and mile runs in 2010 … the distance runner competed in 1,500-meter, mile, 5,000-meter, 10,000-meter runs and the 3,000-meter steeplechase during his sophomore season.
