Indoor – Competed in two meets … Came in 16^th in the 3,000-meter run at McNeese Jeff Davis Bank Indoor Invite II with a time of 9:23.00 … Finished 19^th in the 3,000-meter run and 20^th in the mile run at Texas Tech Indoor Open #2 with times of 9:42.78 and 4:46.01 respectively.
 
Outdoor – Did not compete in any meets.
 
2011 Season • Freshman
Indoor – Competed in three indoor meets … helped his Distance Medley Relay team finish 13th at the Houston Invitational with a time of 11:08.97 ... finished 31st in the 3000-meter run at the UH All-Comers Meet with a time of 9:28.91 ... placed 13th at the Great West Conference Indoor Championships in the mile run with a time of 4:33.80.
 
Outdoor – Competed in five meets during the outdoor season ... finished in eighth place in the 800-meter run at the Cactus Cup with a time of 2:03.86 and finished fifth in the 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 10:41.04 ... placed fourth at the Bobcat Invitational in the 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 10:32.96 … finished eighth in the 3000-meter steeplechase with a 10:31.05 at the Great West Conference Outdoor Championships.

Earned letters in cross country and track and field … earned first team all-district honors, all-state honorable mention and was a two-time regional qualifier in the 800-meter run.
