The Broncs top returning golfer, she led the team in stroke average and had the low round of the season for the team. 

Fall 1999: Her 85.9 stroke average was second best on the squad in 10 rounds of play... Tied for ninth place at the Islander Invitational with a 165 (10/26).

1998-99: Last season low round for the Lady Broncs belonged to Gutierrez, as she fired an opening round of 77 at the 1998 Ptarmigan Ram Classic in Fort Collins, CO... Her best finish of the year was eighth at the Sam Houston State Ellingson Invitational at the Waterwood National in Huntsville, TX... Gutierrez's per round average of 83.3 also led the squad. 

1997-98: Gutierrez shot an opening round 81 at the Sun Belt Conference Tournament, her low round of the season... Her best performance of the season came at the Lu Ellen Gibbs Tournament in Huntsville, TX, where she finished tenth. 

1996-97: As a freshmen Gutierrez played in three tournaments... She shot a second round 83 at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, NM, her lowest round of the season. 

Personal: Alejandra is the daughter of Rigoberto and Rosalinda Ibarra de Gutierrez... Gutierrez attended high school just south of UTPA at Colegio Mexicano de Bachilleres in Reynosa, Mexico.
