2008-09 Season [Sophomore]
In his second season as a Bronc, Dornauf picked up six wins with four in singles play and two in doubles action...saw the most success at the No. 6 spot of the rotation with a 3-9 mark...wrapped up conference with a 3-3 mark...handed Rohan Shetty (Nicholls State, 2/25) a quick 6-0, 6-3 loss for Dornauf[apos]s first win of the season...defeated Shariq Khan (UTSA, 3/14) in a third set super tiebreaker by a score of 3-6, 6-1, 6-3...defeated James Langford of No. 39 A&M-Corpus Christi (3/22) 6-4, 7-6 (7-2)...Dornauf[apos]s first doubles win of the season came at the No. 3 spot with partner Brett Bernstein as they defeated Myles Perkins/Esteban Ferrero (Montana State, 2/20) 8-4...only other doubles win came in conference play with a victory over Maciej Bogusz/Richard Filkuka (Lamar, 4/11) with partner Ashwin Vijayaragavan by a score of 8-1.
2007-08 Season [Freshman]
Dornauf made an immediate impact on the Broncs tennis program as he led the Broncs in singles action with an 11-7 mark including a 4-3 record in the Southland Conference...notched a 1-1 record in the number-five spot and a 10-6 mark in the number-six position in the rotation...recorded wins against Tennessee Tech, Prairie View A&M, Centenary College, Arkansas-Little Rock, Nicholls State, Southeastern Louisiana, Southern, UTA, Lamar, ORU and Santa Clara...of three matches that went into third-set super tiebreakers, won two of them including a 7-6, 3-6, 15-13 victory over Arkansas-Little Rock and a 3-6, 7-6, 1-0 victory over Southeastern Louisiana...notched a 4-5 record in doubles action with teammate Nirvick Mohina in the number-three spot in the rotation including a 1-3 record in the Southland Conference...as a team with Andrew Irving, recorded a 3-5 overall record in doubles with a 1-0 record in the number-one spot and a 2-5 mark in the number-two spot in the rotation...Dornauf teamed up with Ivan Avila for one doubles match as they dropped an 8-9 decision to Asaf Cohen/Einar Hart of San Francisco...earned Aeropostale Southland Conference Player of the Week honorable mention honors on one occasion...named to the All-Southland Conference Second Team.
Prep Career
Dornauf comes to the Rio Grande Valley from Scotch Oakburn College Prep where he was ranked number-one in the State of Tasmania... ranked 29th in Australia for his age group... team captain at Scotch Oakburn College Prep... ranked in the top-200 in Australia... ranked number-five in the State of Tasmania in Men[apos]s Open competition.

Dornauf is the son of Robin and Karen Dornauf... was born oh Jan. 1, 1989... has one brother - Simon who won the National Bronze medal in Australia.
