Matt Teivans, an Adelaide, Australia native, joins the Broncs as a transfer from Wichita State University.

As a freshman, Matt posted an impressive record at the #6 singles position, going 11-5 overall and 4-1 in Missouri Valley Conference play. He also posted an overall doubles record of 7-5 with a 3-1 mark in the MVC.
As a sophomore... Matt compiled a 25-18 singles record of the season, with wins over Mindaugas Celedinas and David Subirats, of Southland Conference foe University of Texas - Arlington. He went 20-19 in doubles play, including a win over Big XII University of Nebraska. Matt redshirted his junior year at Wichita State, and comes to the Broncs with 2 years of eligibility remaining.
Prior to College:Lettered in Drive Tennis from 2003-07 and posted a 50-2 singles record and an 86-0 doubles record...Named [quote]Tennis South Australia Player-of-the-Year[quote], and Rookie-of-the-Year of the Pennant Premier League...Was ranked as high as No. 3 in Australian Juniors...Led Marryatville HS to the 2006 Australian National Championship.
Matt was born July 5, 1990, and hails from Adelaide, Australia. As a top-ranked junior, he helped lead Marryatville High School to National Championships in 2006. He is an Exercise Science Major...
