2005 (Junior Season): Mason appeared in just six games during his junior season due to an injury... had the lowest earned run average (3.48) on the team in 32.2 innings pitched... struck out 28 batters while walking 12... pitched eight shutout innings against Arizona (Feb. 20), picking up the win.

Oklahoma State:  Mason had a 4-1 record on the mound for the 2004 season.. posted a 6.00 earned run average with Cowboys while pitching 39 innings, striking out 32, and walking 9... played with 2004 squad that won the Big 12 Conference Tournament.

Gloucester Community College: Went 5-2 on the mound... was a 40th round selection of the Cincinnati Reds in 2003... played summer ball for the South Jersey and went 11-1 in two season of play... was a three-time all-star with the Starz.

Cherokee High School: Named first team all-state junior and senior years... went 8-0 on the mound during his senior campaign... a three-year letter winner at pitcher and shortstop.

Personal: Mason is the son of Mike and Cindy Mason... born Dec. 3, 1982... has one sister - Kristen - and one brother -Joshua... majoring in education/kinesiology with a minor in history.
