2005 (Freshamn Season): Haines led the Broncs in appearances as a freshman, pitching in 30 games... served as the team's closer, notcing  six saves... was a second-team All-Independent selection... was once named Independent Newcomer of the Week... finished lasted season with a 2-3 record and a 4.41 earned run average... walked just 15 batters while recording 37 strikeouts... recorded two saves ine one day against Birmingham - Southern and Texas - San Antonio (Mar. 6).

Blinn College: Sat out the season as a medical redshirt.

Sharyland High School: Haines was recognized as the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association All-State Pitcher... named 31-4A Defensive MVP... honored as all-valley and all-area MVP and Player of the year... selected to play in the East/West All-Star game of the Rio Grande Valley... on the mound in 2004 he was 10-1 with a 1.21 ERA pitching 75 innings including 95 strikeouts and 24 walks... Batted .338 in his senior season he hit one home run and recorded 18 RBI. 

Personal: Haines is the son of Ron and Laura Haines... was born on May 19, 1985... has one sister - Amy... majoring in management.
