EDINBURG – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) women's basketball alum Hildur Björg Kjartansdóttir (2014-17) continues to follow her dreams of playing professional basketball.
 
Upon graduation, Kjartansdóttir returned home to Iceland to play with the Icelandic National Team. She originally had planned to stay in Iceland for a year but as life would have it she got an offer she could not refuse to play basketball in Spain.
 
Kjartansdóttir looks back at her time at UTRGV and continues to use the lessons and experiences she learned to help her climb towards her career goals.
