RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros women's soccer team announced on Friday that they will be hosting a Women's Soccer ID Camp on July 23 at the UTRGV Soccer and Track & Field Complex.
The ID Camp will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with check-in starting at 8:30 a.m. The camp is for girls 14 and up through junior college.

The ID Camp will consist of two sessions focusing on technical and tactical aspects of the game. The camp is designed to show prospective student-athletes what it is like to train at the Division I level under the guidance of UTRGV Women's Soccer Head Coach
Mark Foster and his staff.
Schedule is as follows:
8:30 a.m. - Check in at the field
9:00 a.m. - Staff introductions and welcome
9:15- 11:30 a.m. - Technical session/ small sided games
12:00-1:00 p.m. - Lunch on campus (lunch will be provided)
1:00-2:00 p.m. - College presentation
2:00-2:45 p.m. - Tour of campus
3:00-4:45 p.m. - Tactical session/ 11v11 game
5:00 p.m. - Coaching staff closing remarks

The camps and academies are open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender). NCAA rules prohibit representatives of UTRGV Athletics interests (boosters) who are not legally responsible for a prospective student-athlete (grades 7-12) from providing any expenses to attend a showcase, camp or clinic. Violations of this could result in loss of NCAA eligibility for the prospective student-athlete.
