RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) women's soccer program looks forward to hosting a free youth clinic on Saturday, April 18 at Brownsville Sports Park in Brownsville.
The youth clinic is free and open to all participants. Participants must be between the ages of six and 11 to register. The clinic will run from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
All participants will have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals and skills of soccer from new head women's soccer coach
Nataki Stewart and his staff, as well as some of the current members of the women's soccer team.
Those interested in signing up for the youth clinic can do so at
GoUTRGV.com/WSoccerClinic.
"Our goal is to serve our community by creating access, while honoring the pride, culture, and resilience of the Rio Grande Valley," Stewart said. "The Valley is built on family, hard work, and belief in one another, and our youth ID clinic reflects those values. It allows us to connect with young players, integrate our program into the heart of the community, and show the next generation that their dreams matter."
