CARROLLTON – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros men's golf team finished in13^th place at the Maridoe Intercollegiate, hosted by the University of North Texas, on Tuesday at Maridoe Golf Course. 
 
The Vaqueros posted a final round 307 to finish with a three-round score of 924. 
 
Junior Arthit Kruaprayong led UTRGV in the final round as he improved by 10 strokes with an even par 72. Kruaprayong finished tied for 42^nd with a three-round score of 230. Redshirt senior Taj Sutherland finished tied for 53^rdwith a three-round score of 231 after posting a final round 82. 
 
Sophomore McAllen Memorial alum Esteban Gonzalez and sophomore Emilio Gil Leyva both finished tied for 65^th with three-round scores of 235. Gonzalez posted a final round 79 while Gil Leyva carded a final round two-over par 74. 
 
Junior Luis Limón finished tied for 71^st with a three-round score of 239 after posting a final round 82 and sophomore Eddie Lai, who was playing as an individual, carded a final round 75 to finish in 64^th with a three-round score of 234. 
 
Oklahoma won the team title with a three-round score of 857 after a final round 289. Oklahoma's Jase Summy won the individual title with a three-round score of 210 after a final round 70.
 
The Vaqueros will be back in action April 7-8 at the Tiger Intercollegiate
