COLUMBIA, Mo. – Play at the Tiger Intercollegiate, hosted by Missouri University, was suspended due to darkness on Monday at The Club at Old Hawthorne with The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros men's golf team sitting tied for 13^th with a couple of holes to play. 
 
The Vaqueros opened with a first round 281 as they sat in seventh place after the first round. Currently the Vaqueros have posted a second-round score of 256 with most of the squad having two holes to play. 
 
Freshman Jorge Martin Sampedro currently sits tied for 13^th after opening with an even par 70 and is currently one-under par through 16 holes in the second round. Junior Rodolphe Cicala is tied for 45^th after opening with a one-under par 69 but is currently four-over through 16 holes. 
 
Junior Esteban Gonzalez is tied for 62^nd after posting a one-over par 71 and is four-over par through 15 holes in the second round. Freshman Brock Porter is tied for 69^th after posting a one-over par 71 in the first round and is currently five-over through 16 holes in the second round. Sophomore Gabriel Dulon Villoslada is tied for 79^th after carding a first round 75 and is currently five-over through 15 holes in the second round. 
 
Host Missouri holds the team lead in the second round as they are 10-under on the day. Missouri's Veikka Viskari holds the individual lead at seven-under with three holes left in the second round. 
 
The Vaqueros will resume the second round at 8 a.m. and stay in the same groups with continuous play to wrap up the tournament.
