RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros women's golf team announced their complete 2025-26 schedule on Friday that will feature four fall and seven spring events starting with the Lady Clerico from September 14-16 at Hillcrest Country Club.
The Vaqueros then return to the Red Raider Invitational from Sept. 23-24 at The Rawls Golf Course in Lubbock before teeing it up at the Diamante Intercollegiate from Oct. 19-21 at the Diamante Country Club.
UTRGV will then close out the fall at the Bear Brawl on Oct. 28 at Ridgewood Country Club.
"The women's schedule is exciting," UTRGV Director of Golf
Houston Moore said. "It's a new look for us this year. We are adding three new ladies and bringing back five. We have two new coaches in the mix. The schedule has a couple of spots from last year and a lot of new stuff that we haven't been to yet. It will be exciting. We'll get to play schools that we normally don't see."
The spring season will open with the Vaqueros competing at the Texas State Invitational from Feb. 2-3 at Landa Park Golf Course in New Braunfels. The Vaqueros then tee it up at the Islander Classic at Corpus Christi Country Club Feb. 17-18 as part of the South Texas Showdown, presented by Rally Credit Union and then return to Corpus Christi on Feb. 27 for a match play event.
UTRGV then heads to the Riverbend Intercollegiate from March 9-10 at Riverbend Country Club in Sugar Land before heading to The Nashville Invitational from March 23-25 at Hermitage Golf Course.
The Vaqueros will have their final tune up at the ULM Invitational from March 30-31 at Bayou Desiard Country Club before competing in the Southland Conference Championships from April 13-15.
The NCAA Regional Championships will be held from May 11-13 at regional sites while the NCAA Championship will run from May 22-27at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California.
