RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced on Monday that free digital tickets are now available for football's open practice on March 28 at 9:45 a.m. at Robert & Janet Vackar Stadium at UTRGVTickets.com.
 
Additionally, registration for the free football youth clinic for kids in grades 2-5, taking place immediately following the open practice from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., is now open at GoUTRGV.com/FootballClinic.
 
Open Practice & Youth Clinic
 
Fans must show their free digital open practice ticket to gain entry and are required to follow the clear bag policy which can be found at RallyTheValley.com. Gates open at 8:45 a.m.
 
All seating will be general admission in the grandstands. Premium seating will not be available for this event.
 
A free youth clinic for the first 200 enrollees will take place at the conclusion of the open practice. The registration deadline is March 27 at 12 p.m.

Although this practice is open to the public, practices at the Vaqueros Performance Center (VPC) are generally be closed to the public.

Spring Game
 
Fans will be required to register for free digital tickets for the spring game on April 11 at 2 p.m. at Sams Memorial Stadium as well. The ticket registration link will go live at UTRGVTickets.com on March 23.
 
Season Tickets Wait List
 
UTRGV is currently amid the season ticket upgrade process with current season ticket members who renewed their season tickets for the 2026 season.
 
Fans on the wait list may have an opportunity to purchase a limited number of season tickets that could become available at the conclusion of that process. Those on the wait list will be contacted after April 1 in order of their Vaqueros Loyalty Points ranking based on points accumulated through April 1. Fans can join the wait list at GoUTRGV.com/FootballWaitList.
