2024 Outdoor Track & Field (Junior): Competed in prelims of the 400-meter dash at WAC Outdoor Championships… Ran personal-best 2:03.40 in the 800-meter run at the Cactus Cup… Ran season-best 22.33 in the 200-meter dash at the Texas A&M Invite… Was second with the 4x400-meter relay and ran season-best 48.70 in the 400 dash at the season-opening Kirk Baptiste Spring Break Invitational. 

2024 Indoor Track & Field (Junior): Was fourth with the 4x400-meter relay at WAC Indoor Championships, setting a program record in 3:12.38; was 14^th in prelims of the 400-meter dash … Was 37^th in the 200-meter dash at the Jarvis Scott Open … Finished 25^th in the 400-meter dash and 44^th in the 200 at the Robert Platt Invitational … Was fifth with the 4x400-meter relay and 13^th in the 400-meter dash at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Invitational … Made UTRGV debut at Arkansas Invitational, taking 24^th in the 400-meter dash. 

2020-23 (Cloud County Community College): Wanga was a three-time qualifier for the NJCAA Div. I Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field Championships while competing for Cloud County Community College in Kansas. He comes to UTRGV boasting personal bests of 7.15 in the 60-meter dash, 21.47 in the 200-meter dash, 47.43 in the 400-meter dash and 1:17.69 in the 600-meter run at the collegiate level. In 2023, Wanga placed second with the 4x400-meter relay and fifth in the 400 dash and 4x100-meter relay at the NJCAA Region VI Outdoor Championships. He took silver in the 600 run and 4x400-meter relay at the Region VI Indoor meet. In 2022, Wanga claimed bronze in the 4x400 at the Region VI Outdoor meet, gold in the 600 run and 4x400 relay at the Region VI Indoor meet, and bronze in the 600 and fifth in the 4x400 relay at the NJCAA indoor Championships. He helped Cloud County earn bronze in the 4x400 relay at the Region VI and NJCAA Indoor championships in 2021.
