2. What is your favorite childhood memory?
Winning a gold medal with my home state team in the 2011 Mexican National Olympic Games 
 
3. What's your favorite color?
Red, but right now I bleed orange
 
4. What's your favorite book?
Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand
 
5. What's your favorite movie?
Creed
 
6. Who is your favorite celebrity (non-sports)?
Dwayne Johnson
 
7. Other than the sport in which you compete, what is your favorite sport?
Basketball
 
8. What are your favorite professional sports teams?
Real Madrid, Houston Rockets, and Club America.
 
9. How did you become a fan of those teams?
By watching a lot of their games. I liked and enjoyed watching the players that play and represent each of these teams.
 
10. Who are your favorite professional athletes and why?
Kobe Bryant, Muhammad Ali, and Cristiano Ronaldo. All three are the greatest of all time in their respective sports. They share mentality, determination, and work ethic that separates you from the rest.
 
11. If you weren't competing in your sport, what would you be doing?
I'd probably be a regular student, but for sure still be involved in sports as a supporter or volunteer.
 
12. Why did you choose your sport?
Greatest sport in the world.
 
13. What is the biggest challenge of being a student-athlete?
Being able to manage your time with academics and training sessions. As a student-athlete, you need to give enough time to both areas while at the same time finding extra time to put in extra work.
 
14. When you have free time, what do you like to do?
I like to get some extra work in on the soccer field or weight room. Sometimes you will find me watching some Netflix.
 
15. What brought you to UTRGV?
An incredible academic and soccer program that I wanted to be part of. Each year, both are becoming better and reaching new levels of success.
 
16. What are your major/minor/planned areas of study?
I'm majoring in exercise science, with minors in management and economics.
 
17. What do you want to do after you graduate?
Plan A: Be a professional soccer player. If plan A does not happen, work in professional sports or collegiate athletics.
 
18. What's your dream job?
General Manager of Real Madrid
 
19. Who is the biggest inspiration in your life and why?
My family, all the support and love they give me to reach my goals and dreams is relentless.
 
20. Is there anything else you want everyone to know about you?
My favorite phrase which I guide my life by: If you want to do something that everybody ain't doing, you got to do some stuff that everybody ain't doing.
