Final Results

BROKEN ARROW, Okla. – Freshman Nicolas Platret posted a final round one-over par 73 to lead the University of Texas-Pan American Broncs men's golf team in the final round of the ORU Shootout on Tuesday at Forest Ridge Golf Club.
 
Platret finished in sixth place with a two-round score of 148 (75,73) and finished just four strokes behind Midland Community College's David Wicks for the individual championship.
 
Junior Ramon Ventura-Camp improved by nine strokes from his first round 83 as he posted a final round two-over par 74. Ventura-Camp finished with a two-round score of 157 (83,74) to finish tied for 33^rd.
 
Senior Chris Felix finished in a tie for 62^nd after shooting a final round 83 for a two-round score of 164 (81,83). Junior and Sharyland High School alum Peter Fox (82,84) and freshman Ali Khazanbeik (81,85) both finished tied for 66^th with two-round scores of 166. Fox posted a final round 84 while Khazanbeik shot a final round 85.
 
As a team, the Broncs finished in 13^th place with a two-round score of 633 (319,314) after shooting a final round 314. The Broncs finished three strokes behind Oral Roberts for 12^th place while Northern Iowa took the team championship with a two-round score of 600. 
 
The Broncs are back in action on Monday April 20 when they tee it up at the Western Athletic Conference Championship at the Wigwam Golf Course in Litchfield Park, Arizona.
