Final Result

WALNUT, Calif. – Freshman Abraham Chirchir posted a time of the 14:30.68, which ranks third fastest in The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) men's track and field history, in the 5,000-meter run at the Mt. SAC Relays on Friday at Hilmer Lodge Stadium. 
 
Chirchir's time ranks the fastest time in the 5,000-meter race in the Western Athletic Conference this season as he finished in 21^st place in the race.
