WHAT:            The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is holding a groundbreaking ceremony to officially begin construction on the Vaqueros Performance Center, a 45,000+ square foot facility being constructed north of UTRGV Baseball Stadium that will house the football program, be used by multiple sports, and is expected to be complete by the fall of 2025.
 
WHEN:            Tuesday, November 28 at 10:30 a.m.
 
WHERE:         Future site of the Vaqueros Performance Center – north of the center field wall of UTRGV Baseball Stadium (920 N. Sugar Rd. in Edinburg)

PROTOCOLS: Members of the media will be able to conduct group interviews with each of the attendees following the groundbreaking.
 
Each attendee will have a microphone plugged into a mult box from which members of the media can obtain audio using an XLR cable.
 
Members of the media are asked to arrive 15 minutes early.
