De Larrea, a native of Spain, comes to UTPA by way of San Paulo, Brazil... De Larrera is a key member of the strong recruiting class brought in by Coach Garcia this season.. De Larrera improved his game with each tournament of the fall schedule... Finished second on the team in stroke average with a 77.4 

Fall 1999: Wrapped up his first semester of play with his first top 10 finish, taking sixth with a three-round of 216 (11/9)... Also had his low round of the season at the tournament with a final round 70.

Personal: Santiago is the son of Alfredo Fernandez De Larrera and Rita Maria Perez Ozaeta
