Slaughter's finesse on and around the greens will make him a key to the success of the Broncs this season... Hopes to build off a solid freshman season in 1998-99.

Fall 1999: Had the fourth best stroke average on the team... Tied for 40th overall at the UTPA Golf Classic with a 230, including an season best 74 second round (11/9). 

1998-99: Played in 21 rounds, averaging 78.9 strokes... Slaughter fired an opening round 70 at his first collegiate tournament, finishing 10th place at the Mary Hardin Baylor Invite. (9/29)... Finished fifth at the National Minority Championship with a 228 (5/6).

Personal: Stephen is the son Steve and Brenda Slaughter. Slaughter was voted to 1st team All-District at Keller HS... With a 1.4 handicap Slaughter should be a key ingredient to the success of the Broncs.
