Bunte, a southpaw, brings his strong short game along with his tough mental approach to the Broncs... After leading the team in stroke average during the fall, Bunte will be major determining factor for the Broncs' success this spring. 

Fall 1999: Finished first on the team three times in his first semester with UTPA... Had his first top-20 finish with an 11th place showing at the Bethune Cookman CocaCola Invite., totaling 148 for two rounds (11/1)... Tied for 39th overall, tops on the squad, at the Tulane Deep South Invite. With a 223, including a first round 72 (10/26)... Finished in a tie for 61st in his first collegiate tournament with a total of 243 (86-81-76) at the Crown Classic (9/14).

Personal: Jordan is the son of Charles and Margaret Bunte... Bunte was coached in high school by Ray Hinze, and received additional instruction from PGA Pro John Gibson... Bunte was awareed the Falcon Award for academis while at Jersey Village HS.
