De Los Santos provides a rare quality for the Broncs, leadership... The lone upper-classmen on the team De Los Santos will be counted on to provide some stability on such a young squad. 

Fall 1999: Finished fifth on the team in stoke average during the fall season... Tied for 44th at the UTPA Golf Classic with a three-round total of 234 (11/9)... Finished 87th at the Tulane Deep South Invitational with a 245 total (10/26)... Shot a 245 at the Tulsa Southern Hills Invitational (10/12).

1998-99: Finished sixth on the team in stroke average with a 79.5 for the season... Shot his low round of the season at the UTPA Golf Classic when he posted a second round score of 72, leading to a 13th place finish... Shot a career best 220 for the three round tournament (11/17)... Posted a three-round total of 240, his second best total of the season at the South-west Texas State Classic (2/16)

1997-98: Saw action in just two tournaments in his first year with UTPA... De Los Santos Fired a 76 the second round of the Red Raider Intercollegiate in Lubbock, leading to a 239 for the tournament (10/21)... De Lost Santos also competed in the Woodlands Intercollegiate (9/30).

Personal: Miguel is the son of Miguel Angel and Ofelia De Los Santos... De Los Santos won the STPGA at the Mcallen Country Club and well as the STPGA at the Midvalley during the off season... Miguel attended Edinburg High School where he helped the Bobcats win District Championship in 1993, 1994, and 1995. He was voted team MVP in 1996.
