EDINBURG, Texas – The University of Texas-Pan American (UTPA) Broncs volleyball team (8-20, 4-7 GWC) is set to host the University of North Dakota (UND) Fighting Sioux (22-5, 11-0 GWC) in their last regular-season match Saturday, Nov. 13 at 2 p.m. at the UTPA Fieldhouse.
Prior to the match, the team will honor its seven departing seniors – Ariana Bermea, Marci Logan, Cassandra Trevino, Charity Cucancic, Meghan Fichtel, Kaitlin Vasquez and Rita Gonzalez.
UTPA and the Fighting Sioux last played each other Oct. 7 in Grande Forks, N.D., where North Dakota won 3-0.
The Broncs enter the match following a 3-1 loss to the University of South Dakota Coyotes Thursday evening at the UTPA Fieldhouse.
UND travels to UTPA following a 3-0 sweep of the Houston Baptist Huskies Thursday night.
Both teams will travel to Chicago, Ill. next week for the Great West Conference Volleyball Tournament hosted by Chicago State University Nov. 19-21.
