RIO GRANDE VALLEY –The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros swimming & diving program faced Incarnate Word in front of 631 fans Saturday at City of Pharr-PSJA Natatorium, falling 193-94.
 
Freshman Annaleagh Stahl finished the day with a hat trick as she picked up wins in the 100 backstroke (57.54), 200 backstroke (2:04.37), and 200 IM (2:11.73) to notch 27 points for the Vaqueros.
 
Freshman Manou Meulebeek has qualified for the NCAA Zone "D" Diving competition in the 1 and 3 meter springboard after winning both events with scores of 299.33 and 286.43, respectively.
 
Overall, UTRGV earned 14 top three finishes. The 200 medley relay team consisting of Stahl, sophomore Olivia Votava, freshman Ida Rudelius, and freshman Madiana Lofgren earned second in their race.
 
Junior Delaney Murphy finished second in the 1 and 3 meter springboard 247.95 and 230.93, respectively.
 
Rudelius earned three third place finishes in the 200 butterfly, 100 freestyle, and 100 butterfly.
 
Votava earned two third place finishes in the 100 breaststroke and 200 breaststroke and sophomore Chloe Siegrist finished in third in the 500 freestyle.
