DALLAS – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros men's golf team posted their best round of the fall with a four-under 284 in the second round of the Trinity Forest Invitational on Monday at Trinity Forest Golf Course.  
 
The Vaqueros used their four-under 284 to move into a tie for ninth place with Rice with a two-round total of 572. Through two rounds, the Vaqueros are ahead of North Texas, North Carolina State, Abilene Christian, UT Arlington, and UTSA. 
 
Junior Arthit Kruaprayong posted his second-straight two-under 70 and is tied for 20^th with a two-round total of 140. Sophomore Emilio Gil Leyva posted a two-under par 70 as moved into a tie for 32^nd with a two-round total of 143. 
 
Sophomore McAllen Memorial alum Esteban Gonzalez posted his second-straight even par 72 and is tied for 38^th with a two-round total of 144. Senior Juan Luis de Bethencourt Duque posted a second round even par 72 and is tied for 45^thwith a two-round total of 145. Junior Luis Limón is tied for 59^th with a two-round total of 148 after posting a second round one-over 73. 
 
UNLV took the lead after the second round with a two-round total of 550 after posting a 273 on Monday. UNLV's Zach Little holds the individual lead with a two-round total of 132 after a second round 64. 
 
The Vaqueros will be back on the course for the final round of the Trinity Forest Invitational on Monday with the first group teeing off at 8:25 a.m.
