Fall 1996: Fired a 233 en route to a 27th place tie at the UTPA Intercollegiate Classic. 

As a freshman (1995-96): Placed in a tie for 19th overall at the Wildflower Invitational with a two round score of 175. 

Edinburg High School: Lettered four seasons under coaches Don Gray and Dan Nelson... Earned a second place finish a the district tournament... Helped the team earn four district championships... Member of the Fellowship of Christina Athletes, National Honor Society and the Spanish Honor Society. 

Personal: Son of Mary Helen and Romero Diaz... Born March 3, 1977 in McAllen,Texas... Recipient of the FISH Foundation and the VAGA Scholarships... Majoring in Physical Therapy.
