Cross Country - Ramirez had his best finish at the Islander Splash where he crossed the end line in 28:01... was the second Bronc to finish at the NCAA Division I South Central Regional Tournament in 64th place with a mark of 32:58 in the 10K race... Outdoor - Ramirez finished 10th at the Bayou Classic hosted by Rice University with a time of 18:05.36 in the 5000 meter... Classroom - The Waelder, TX, native was cited as a Bronc Pride 3.0 Club member for the 2004 spring semester.

Indoor - Ramirez finished third with a time of 16:39.94 at the Houston Indoor Opener in the 5000 meter... Cross Country - The Broncs[apos] junior recorded a pair of top 10 finishes at the Texas A&M - Corpus Christi Splash and UTSA/Whataburger Invitational... was the squad[apos]s top finisher at the Texas State Invitational... competed at the Lobo Invitational hosted by New Mexico State where he ran 30:50 while finishing 81st overall.

High School - Ramirez was a two-time district champion for Waelder High School... qualified for the state and regional meets during his final two seasons in both track and field and cross country... garnered Heart Award honors as a junior and senior... cited as the Athlete of the Year as a senior... won both the Math and Spanish Awards.
