Outdoor - In his first season, Olguin finished 10th overall at the Spira Invitational with a time of 56.37 in the 400-meter dash... was 12th in the 400-meter dash with a time of 54.53 at the Rice Twilight... Indoor - Olguin recorded his best finish of 39th overall in the 400-meter dash with a time of 57.50 at the Houston Indoor Invitational.

Holy Cross High School
A native of San Antonio, TX, Olguin was a seven-time letterwinner at Holy Cross High School, earning four letters in track and field and three in football... finished third at the Texas 5A State Championships in the 1600-meter relay in his junior season... was a member of a two-time district championship squad in the 1600-meter relay as a junior and senior... placed second in that event at the 2003 TAPPS Meet... earned TAPPS 2-5A All-District honors on the gridiron as a running back and free safety during his junior and season seasons for the Knights.

Olguin is the son of Armando and Maria Olguin... was born on June 21, 1984... has two brothers - Manuel and Matthew - and one sister - Anna... has not yet declared a major.
