Cross Country - Tejada finished fifth at the UTSA/Whataburger Invitational with a time of 16:39... had a pair of 24th-place finishes at the Texas State Invitational (30:19) and Islander Splash (28:01)... Outdoor - Tejada recorded a pair of top five finishes during his freshman campaign with the Broncs... placed fifth at the Bayou Classic with a time of 16:08.49 in the 5000 meter... was fifth in the 3000 meter with a time of 9:53.06 at the Angela Proctor Classic... notched a seventh-place finish in the 3000 meter at the Whataburger/UTSA Relays... Indoor - Tejada had two top four performances during the 2004 indoor season at both the Houston Indoor Invitational (16:13.02) and Houston / RunSport All-Comers (16:05.04)... Classroom - The UTPA junior was named to the Bronc Pride 3.0 Club in both the fall and spring semesters.

Cross Country - In his first season, Trevino earned All-Independent honors after placing 11th at the Independent Championships with a time of 27:56... earned his best finish of the season, placing ninth at the UTSA/Whataburger Invitational in 16:39... crossed the finish line in 16th place at the Texas A&M - Corpus Christi Splash with a mark of 27:19.

High School - Tejada captured the district championship in cross country on two occasions... claimed the two-mile district championship twice and the one mile title during his junior season... notched the Dog Pound Invitational in that event... was an All-Metro selection in cross country... recorded a personal-best of 4:28 in the one-mile and 9:43 during the two-mile races... was a member of a three-time district championship cross country team.

Off the Track - Tejada is the son of Rogelio and Angie Tejada... was born on Oct. 27, 1984... has one brother - Joshua - and one sister Lynda... majoring in business.
