Michael Sifuentess transferred to UTPA as an NCAA Division I baseball veteran, having already been a second baseman for Coach Augie Garrido at The University of Texas at Austin. Sifuentes gives the Broncs a shortstop who also can play the other infield positions and thus can serve as a valuable utility man.     Sifuentes came out of James Bowie High in Austin, where he hit .417 as a senior for Coach Ted Rodriguez.  Sifuentes made first team All-District and All-Centex.     Having started at The University of Texas at Austin, Sifuentes will get to make two homecomings this season when the Broncs play the Longhorns in Austin twice, March 9 and April 14.     Sifuentes is majoring in Kinesiology, minoring in English, and plans to be a corporate sports trainer.
