Fall 1996: Played in all five tournaments... Posted a team low 76.1 stroke average... Shot a career low 69 in the opening round of the UTPA Intercollegiate Classic to finish in 2nd place... Fired a 74 and 72 en route to finish in a tie for 8th place at the Red Raider Intercollegiate Invitational. 

As a freshman (1995-96): Played in five tournaments and posted a 79.1 tournament average... Fired a season low 70 in the second round of the Sun Belt Conference Championship to finish 8th... Had a two round total of 164 at the Wildflower Invitational... Selected to the Sun Belt Conference Commissioner's All-Academic List. 

Bastrop High School: Lettered four seasons under head coach Marcus Evans... Finished third in the district... Helped the team earn three district championships... Selected Academic All-District four straight years... member of the National Honors Society. 

Personal: Born February 7,1977 in Yoakum, Texas... Son of Judy and Thomas Grubert... Business Management Major at UTPA... Would like to play professional golf following graduation.
