Outdoor - Clinton earned runner-up honors at both the Angela Proctor Classic (148-7) and Whataburger/UTSA Relays (150-7) in the javelin... broke a personal-record at the Bayou Classic hosted by Rice University with a toss of 163-7... finished third in the javelin at that meet... was fourth at the Border Olympics after throwing 143-1... finished 16th at the Rice Twilight (144-6)... Classroom - Clinton earned Bronc Pride 3.0 Club honors during the fall semester.

2003
Outdoor - Clinton redshirted during the 2003 track and field outdoor season... Indoor - The UTPA sophomore competed at the Houston Indoor Classic where he was eighth in the long jump (19-8.75) and tenth in the 60 meter hurdles (8.56)... was ninth at the Houston Indoor Invitational with a time of 8.42 in the 60 meter hurdles.

High School
A two-time captain at Raymondville High School, Clinton was an all-area selection in each of his last two seasons... held the District 32-3A record in the 110M high hurdles... was also the district champion in that event... was a member of the 2001 Regional Championship team... excelled on the football field as the Area and District Defensive Most Valuable Player... named the All-Star Game[apos]s Most Valuable Player... was a second team all-district selection on the basketball court... graduated as a Texas Scholar.

Off the Track
Clinton is the son of Chris and Jaye Clinton... was born on Oct. 27, 1982... has two brothers - Chris and Ben - and one sister - Theresa... majoring in business management.
