Summary

Biography

Brandon Stone transferred to UTPA from Baylor for his senior year, and the Broncs have been pleased to gain this poised pitching veteran from former Southwest Conference.  He also starred for Taylor JC and Longview Pine Trees HS in East Texas before going to Baylor.     Stone quickly established himself as a quality pitcher. The big righthander, 6-4 and 227 pounds, has the age (22) and the experience to solidify the pitching staff in this, his one year of Bronc eligibility. He has good control and uses his tall frame to field his position well. He is, in a word, a winner.     He is majoring in Criminal Justice. He can stop batters with his arresting variety of pitches  and handcuff them with his control.
