2008 Season
Indoor - competed in two indoor meets...crossed the finish line in first in the 5,000-meter run at the Houston Indoor Invitational with a time of 18:27.72...placed fourth in the 3,000-meter run at the Bayou Classic with a time of 10:23.68...Outdoor - recorded 10 top-10 finishes for the outdoor season...garnered first place accolades in the 1,500 and 3,000-meter run at the Borde Olympics with times of 4:55.48 and 10:25.85 respectively...grabbed a pair of second place finishes at the Texas State Open and Texas Invitational in the 3,000-meter run with times of 10:16.97 and 10:17.20...competed in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Javelina Invitational grabbing a first place finish with a time of 11:27.70...finished fourth at the Texas Relays in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 17:40.77...finished ninth and first at the Texas Twilight in the 1,500-meter (fast section) run and the 3,000-meter run with times of 4:48.01 and 10:16.35...finished in second in the 1,500-meter run at the Houston Invitational with a time of 4:49.70.

2007 Season
Cross Country - Izaguirre started the [apos]07 season with a seventh-place finish at the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Relays with a time of 28:56.0 and an 11th place finish at the Texas State Invitational with a time of 19:03.27...recorded four top-10 finishes...finished third at the National Independent Championships with a time of 22:02.39...qualified for the NCAA South Central Regional Championships...Indoor - participated in three meets during the indoor track and field season... recorded her first collegiate title at the UH/Run Sport All-Comers Meet in the 3,000-meter race with a time of 10:54:64...collected fourth place honors in the 5,000-meter race with a time of 18:35:38 at the Univ. of Houston Invitational...posted a 13th place finish at the Leonard Hilton Memorial in the 5,000-meter race with a mark of 19:22:34...Outdoor - competed in seven meets during the outdoor track and field season... collected runner-up laurels at the Tom Tellez Invitational in the 5,000-meters race with a mark of 18:15:90... finished second overall in the 5,000-meter race with a mark of 18:22:66 at the ASU/David Noble Relays... posted a fourth place finish at the Border Olympics with a time of 10:39:50 in the 3,000-meter race... collected a fourth place finish at the Bobcat open with a time of 10:33:04 in the 3,000-meter race... came in sixth place in the 1,500-meter race at the Border Olympics with a mark of 4:57:53.

2006 Season
Cross Country - Izaguirre saw action in five meets during the fall cross country season... finished 23rd overall at the National Independent Championships with a time of 23:48:00...came in 44th place at the OSU Cowboy Jamboree with a mark of 19:33:00...finished 55th overall in the 6,000-meters at the South Central Regional Championships with a time of 22:44:80.

Hanna High School
A standout at Hanna High School, Izaguirre earned 12 letters - four in soccer, four in cross country and four in track and field... recorded a time of 11:40 in the two mile race... was a two-time district champion... graduated in the top 11 percent in her class... was a member of the Anime Club, HOSA and Spanish Club.

Off the Track
Izaguirre is the daughter of Juan and Maria Izaguirre... was born on April 28, 1988... has two brothers - Juan and Abraham... majoring in biology/chemistry.
