Cross Country - Rodriguez competed in four meets during the cross country season... finished 37th overall with a time of 20:14 at the Texas A&M Invitational in the 5,000-meter race... Outdoor - The UTPA newcomer earned three top-10 finishes during the outdoor track and field season... finished third overall at the Border Olympics with a time of 5:20.44 in the 1,500-meter race... earned third-place honors in the 5,000 meters with a time of 18:42.30 at the ASU/David Noble Relays... recorded her best mark of 5:09.26 in the 1,500-meter race at the Houston Invitational en route to earning 12th-place accolades... placed ninth overall at the Texas Twilight with a time of 10:59.57 in the 3,000 meters... Indoor - Rodriguez placed eighth overall at the Wes Kittley Invitational with a time of 11:54.38 in the 3,000-meter race... finished 10th overall at the Wes Kittley Invitational with a time of 2:45.08 in the 800-meter race... Classroom - Rodriguez was selected to the UTPA Athletic Director[apos]s Honor Roll for the first time in her career... earned Dean[apos]s List Second Honors during the spring semester... was selected to the Bronc Pride 3.0 Club during both the fall and spring semesters.

2005
Cross Country - Rodriguez paced the Lady Broncs in her first race for UTPA where she crossed the end line in 19:25.00 at the Cowboy Jamboree en route to earning 22nd-place honors... finished 16th overall at the Texas Lutheran Invitational with a time of 25:01.00 in the 6,000-meter race... placed 68th overall at the NCAA Division I South Central Regional Championships with a time of 24:14.40 in the 6,000-meter race.

Valley View High School
Rodriguez received the Leadership Award for cross country in 2004... helped Valley View High School qualify for the regional meet in 2002 and 2004... received two varsity letters for both cross country and track and field.

Off the Track
Rodriguez is the daughter of Juan Jorge and Imelda Rodriguez... has one brother - Juan Jorge Jr.... was born Feb 25, 1987... majoring in chemistry with minors in biology and Spanish.
