Outdoor - Torvik had five top-ten finishes during the outdoor track in field season... finished fourth overall in the 200-meter dash at the Tom Tellez Invitational with a time of 26.83... placed fifth overall at the Tom Tellez Invitational in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.94... finished seventh overall in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.83 at the Texas Invitational... placed eight in the 400-meter dash at the Texas Twilight with a time of 59.11...finished 10th overall in the 200-meter dash with a time of 26.80 at the Bobcat Open... Indoor - Torvik competed in two meets during the indoor track and field season... finished 24th overall at the UH/RunSport All-Comers Meet in the 200-meter dash with a time of 28.12.

Outdoor - The UTPA sophomore recorded her best finish of the outdoor track and field season at the Border Olympics where she placed third overall with a time of 2:29.14 in the 800-meter race... placed eighth overall at the Texas Twilight with a time of 59.86 in the 400-meter dash... Indoor - Torvik competed in two meets during the indoor track and field season... finished 21st overall with a time of 1:02.09 in the 400-meter dash at the UH/RunSport All-Comers Meet... Classroom - Torvik was selected to the Bronc Pride 3.0 Club during the spring semester.

2003
Outdoor - Torvik captured a pair of individual titles during the outdoor track and field season... finished first overall in the 100-meter and 400-meter dash with times of 12.36 and 56.97, respectively, at the Angela Proctor Classic... Classroom - Torvik was selected to the UTPA Athletic Director[apos]s Honor Roll for the first time in her career... cited as a Bronc Pride 3.0 Club member during the fall and spring semesters.

Los Fresnos High School
Torvik was a four-time district champion in the 100-meter dash during her prep career at Los Fresnos High School... captured the Rio Grande Valley Meet of Champions title in the 100-meter dash during her final two seasons... recorded top marks of 11.90 in the 100-meter dash and 57.70 in the 400-meter dash during her prep career.
