Bartosh is one of the only three Broncs to start every game last season... Bartosh will be looked on for leadership and stability... Was among the leader for the Broncs in most offensive categories last season, his first on the squad... A transfer from Navarro Junior College.

1999 (Junior Season): Bartosh in a .294 batting average last season and led the Broncs in runs scored with 57... Bartosh chipped in with 12 doubles and eight home runs... Had a .515 slugging percentage, fourth on the team and a .468 on-base percentage, second on the squad... Also led the team in walks with 54... A threat on the bases as well Bartosh swiped 17 bases in 20 attempts... Led all Broncs (everyday players)  with a .992 fielding percentage. 

Navarro Junior College: While at Navarro Bartosh played under former Bronc player and now coach at Narvarro JC, Skip Johnson...  Bartosh hit .315 in two seasons at Navarro...  He was named to the All-Conference Team as well as being invited to the Junior College All-Star Game.

Duncanville High School: A three year letter winner at Duncanville High School, Bartosh was named to the All-District team each of the three years... Bartosh graduated high school as a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: T.J. Bartosh is not only a standout on the field. but in the classroom as well... After being named to the dean's list in high school, the tradition continued at Navarro JC and now at UT-Pan Am... He was named to the UTPA Athletic Director's Honor Roll for the 1998-99 academic year... T.J. is the son of Tom and Carol Bartosh.
