Ness played in and started 51 games last season for the Broncs... Ness can play the "hot corner" or get behind the plate...  This kind of versatility and his prowess figure to be a factor in the Broncs success this season. 

1999 (Junior Season): Ness batted .297 last season, but showed excellent power numbers... Ness led the Broncs with 12 home runs and drove 45 runs... He also tied for the team lead with 21 extra base hits... Ness was second on the team in total bases with 9 and at-bats with 172...

Navarro Junior College: In two seasons at Navarro JC, Ness belted 24 home runs and had 88 RBI, to go along with the .400 batting average... While playing third base Ness helped lead Navarro JC to two conference championships under Coach Skip Johnson.

Pilot Point High School: In high school he caught for Pilot Point High School, and competed in two 2AA Texas State Baseball Championships... He had 186 career RBI in HS plus 18 home runs in his final season in which he batted .550.

Personal: Andy is the son of Richard A. and Pam Ness, he has one brother, Levi... Upon finishing his baseball career, Andy plans to graduate with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry.
